through the house searching in all of the rooms for Rama.
I found him lying in bed, and ran to embrace him and tell
him that I finally remembered.

My memory had no impact, and I knew that I must die if
Rama was to live. I ran toward the window that sat above
the cliff, and when I reached the glass with its many small
panes I crashed through and fell to the beach below.

When I landed I transformed. I looked at the sand and
each grain was a transparent disk that held its own wisdom.
Each water droplet was filled with understanding. The
shells and waves told the truth of the ages. I rushed up
the cliff stairs to the house, where I found Rama, strong
and well. Our beings merged as our energies slid into each
